Yellow Furry Lullaby

Yellow Furry Lullaby is a storytelling performance that brings awareness of the historical wound around Chinese indentured labour and ongoing exploitation of migrant workers from Asia, interwoven with the children’s story ‘We’re going on a bear hunt’ and Korean national mythology depicting a bear woman. Embracing dandelions as symbols of resilience, the performance engages the lineage of trauma amongst East and Southeast Asian communities and offers a tender moment for collective healing.
